As President of NJSMA, I was also a member of the NJMEA Board of Directors. In this role, I contributed to this compilation of guidance for the safe implementation of arts instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Compilation of COVID-19 Resources

Music educators faced much uncertainty about the ability to continue music education safely during the COVID-19 health crises. I worked with the NJSMA Executive Board to compile a list of resources on our website for our members to help them to continue delivering high quality music instruction safely.

Sharing of Resources With Department Colleagues

Throughout the summer of 2020, I followed research conducted by various organizations to determine the safety precautions that must be taken in order to continue delivering arts instruction safely.
